About Indigo Brothers Haskap Farm
Our Story
Indigo Brothers are two like minded friends that shared a vision of turning a field into an orchard of haskap berry super food! Our passion for farming and dedication to sustainable practices has allowed us to expand our dream into a growing business...both figuratively and literally!
Our Berries
The Haskap berry is a member of the
honeysuckle family and has extremely high antioxidant properties. The Canadian made cultivars we grow were developed by Bob Bor at the University of Saskatchewan.
Haskap berries taste both tart & sweet and are delicious fresh or frozen.
Our Farm
We are nestled in Parson, British Columbia which is in the Columbia Valley on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains. At Indigo Brothers Haskap Farm, we believe in sustainable farming practices that promote the health of our land, our crop, and our customers. We use bubbling Rocky Mountain creek water to irrigate our fields. We use no pesticides of any kind as Haskap berries have no pests that affect them. Our farm boasts a healthy population of wild bees and other pollinators.
